Michelle has over 15 years of experience in molecular biology working in sequencing cores within the academic, biotech, and pharma sectors.
She was a Clinical Lab Scientist at LabCorp and NeoGenomics Laboratories, setting up lab facilities and leading teams in the development and implementation of Molecular, FISH and immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays. At GE-Clarient Diagnostic Services, she transitioned to the role of Project Manager where she was integral in the creation of the PMO (Project Management Office). At the same time, she spearheaded the New Product Introduction program and pipeline, managing the validation of LDT and FDA approved assays and integrated systems, as well as supporting commercial releases. Michelle was appointed as Operations Leader during the acquisition of Clarient by NeoGenomics, driving the Clinical Ops integration across the sites in California, Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.
Most recently she has taken on responsibilities as business systems analyst for the lab information system and proprietary software applications, streamlining and automating molecular laboratory workflows and NGS pipelines in the biopharma services and clinical lab services businesses.
Michelle holds an MBA from Penn State University and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
