Jim is a member of the executive team and leads all aspects of the financial and accounting activities of PierianDx.
With a 30+ year career in healthcare, Jim most recently served as CFO of Essence Healthcare, supporting its growth to an $800 million collaborative payer health plan, committed to superior clinical and financial outcomes to its members. Jim also served as CFO of Lumeris, Essence’s technology and operating partner, which enables providers and health systems to manage risk in today’s environment of value based-based healthcare. Before that, he was CFO for National Accounts at Aetna and was also CFO at Active Health Management, a NYC based data and technology company, which was sold to Aetna in 2005.
Jim currently sits on the Board of Pedal the Cause, a St. Louis based organization which raises funds for innovative cancer research. Jim will work closely with the team at PierianDx to scale the company and deliver a sophisticated and integrated infrastructure for clinical genomic testing.
