A Message to the PierianDx Community

At PierianDx, we acknowledge systemic racial disparity, recent racially-motivated events, and other acts of violence currently playing out across the country. Even more tragically, these events come amidst the pain of the COVID-19 pandemic, which adversely impacts people of color and other marginalized groups. 

It is hard to know what to do or say, so we must look to our core values to inform our actions.  That we hold integrity and compassion in high regard means that we must speak out to categorically oppose all acts of racism. We also support the peaceful pursuit of justice and equality.

As developers of solutions in use by healthcare providers who serve diverse communities, we respond by resolutely reaffirming our core values and deepening our commitment to make next generation sequencing so ubiquitous that it is readily available to all patients, no matter where they are from or the color of their skin.
